Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis Foundation’s Travel Scholarship to the 2019 Canadian Federation of Neurological Sciences (CFNS) Annual Congress

A few weeks ago, we highlighted one of two prizes that were awarded at the CFNS which was held in Montréal, Canada, 16-19 June 2019. We are pleased to highlight the abstract of the 2nd winning entry by Dr. Dhruv Jain, which can be read at the following link:

Dr. Jain was awarded his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Toronto and is about to embark on his 2nd year as a neurology resident at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The Foundation looks forward to awarding the prize at the next CFNS Congress to be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, June 7-10, 2020.

Through such prizes, the Foundation hopes to encourage and support young researchers with an interest in anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis and the related forms of autoimmune encephalitis (AE).

We are grateful to all our generous donors whose contributions have enabled us to empower young clinician/researchers in their work to better understand the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and management of symptoms of anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis and related forms of AE.
