Wesley Thompson, a pastor and his wife,Tanndra Thompson,a social worker are becoming established in their careers and looking forward to welcoming their first child when Tanndra is suddenly stricken with a mysterious and incapacitating illness.  She is eventually diagnosed with Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis.Wesley’s story reflects the shock, fear, and confusion that every caregiver is familiar with when their life is suddenly and cruelly turned upside down by this devastating disease. With unflinching candor, Wesley shares his uncertainty and the frustration of not knowing what is happening to his young family and why.
