World Encephalitis Conference 2020, February 21 to 23, Dallas Texas
Posted on February 23, 2020
The first ever World Encephalitis Conference organized by six encephalitis charitable organizations was held in Dallas, Texas from 21 to 23 February 2020, ended today. From all reports, it was a resounding success, with over 80 attendees, representing six countries. We are grateful to our fellow encephalitis leaders who worked tirelessly to organize this event which in the past was known as The FACES Conference. Our gratitude to Wendy Station, Encephalitis Global, Sally Carty, Susan Foley, Madison Boehme, HESA, Becky Denis, Encephalitis411, Phillippa Chapmann, Encephalitis Society, Kimberley de Haseth and Caterri Woodrum, Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance and last but not least our very own Linda Nourse, Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis Foundation.
We are grateful to Quest Diagnostics for their invaluable sponsorship.
We look forward to building on the success of this year’s conference and trust that this will be the first of many, serving encephalitis survivors and their families.
